Neighborhood

In the half-mile around this spot you’ll find yourself in a really chill, mostly residential pocket of Hot Springs National Park that feels more like a quiet country hamlet than a busy city block — lots of mature trees, spacious yards, and neighbors who’ve lived here for years, many in owner-occupied homes with a median age around the low 50s and a tight-knit vibe where folks enjoy gardening, walking dogs and chatting over the fence. The area sits within the broader Hot Springs community — a historic small city built around the thermal springs that draw visitors to Bathhouse Row and scenic trails in the Ouachita Mountains — so you’re still just a short drive from downtown Hot Springs’s historic spas, quirky local eateries and natural attractions, but right here it’s peaceful and green. People generally feel safe walking during the day and doing neighborhood strolls, though like any mixed-use town setting you’ll notice life happening — cars heading to school or work, dogs being walked, and the occasional emergency or traffic alert on local community boards — so it’s easygoing but not isolated.

Guest Access

All areas of the home are accessible to guests except for locked areas. You're welcome to interact with the animals from the fence line. Please don't open any gates, jump the fences or feed the animals.

We had a wonderful stay at Bridgett’s farmhouse. It was the perfect location for our Hot Springs trip. The house had plenty of room for all of us (grandparents, parents, and kids), and we all really enjoyed the outside space. The kids especially liked feeding the goats and the Retroverse Museum.

We had the unfortunate pleasure of playing baseball on the same weekend as the Arkansas Derby! Luckily, we stumbled across this gem of a place to stay! This home provided a unwinding space for our boys after hard day of baseball, allowed us parents to decompress and get a few laughs in. The hot tub was a very nice addition! The kids really enjoyed it. We greatly appreciate the host and her hospitality. Wish we could’ve enjoyed the Property more but unfortunately baseball takes up most of our time! If we are back in the area, I definitely would rebook. But I am going to have a talk with that rooster! He does get started a little too early!

We had a wonderful time at Bridgett’s home. It is very well-kept and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bonus was the precious farm animals. We went to “talk” to them at the fence line often. Bridgett was always quick to respond if we had a need arise. More than anything, I appreciate that she took the time and consideration to pray for us before we ever even arrived.

This s was such a fun place to stay! We loved the character of the home and loved watching the farm animals. Bridgett was a pleasure and always prompt to communicate and respond. The beds were very comfortable and the home was clean. We would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

This was such a great house for our family vacation! It felt cozy like home with comfy beds and thoughtful accommodations. The fire pit was fun and the kids loved feeding the animals every morning with the owner (Bridgett). The retroverse museum on the property was so fun and the kids loved all the cool cars. The shower in the master bath was as a nice treat especially after a day getting dirty mining for crystals! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to hot springs! Bridgett was a very responsive and kind host. 5/5!

The farmhouse was an amazing stay. It seems that the house is sitting on what used to be a dairy farm in the early 1900s. The house was spotless, and exactly what we needed for our trip. Bridgett was very responsive and helpful when making accommodations for my group. Would gladly return and stay here again in the future!

My family really enjoyed this beautiful home. It had everything we needed and the beds were extremely comfortable. It was great watching the kids interact with the animals and we loved learning about some of this history surrounding the homestead and farm. Bridgett was amazing and we will definitely try to stay here anytime we come to Hot Springs!

Getting around here is pretty straightforward and low-stress. Most visitors use a car since Hot Springs is fairly spread out, and having one makes it easy to hop between downtown, Bathhouse Row, the lakes, and hiking spots without much planning. The immediate neighborhood is calm and walkable for short strolls, but sidewalks can be limited, so walking is more for enjoying the area than getting across town. Rideshares like Uber and Lyft do operate locally, though availability can be a bit hit-or-miss late at night or during slower seasons, so it’s best not to rely on them exclusively. There is a local bus system serving parts of Hot Springs, but routes and schedules are limited and not always convenient for visitors. Parking around town is generally easy — most local attractions, restaurants, and shops have free or inexpensive parking — which makes exploring feel relaxed rather than rushed.
